The reunion conflicted with one of my several pilgrimages each fall to Iowa City to watch the Hawkeyes!

I am not going to make the reunion.  I want to thank Chris for all her hard work.  And, I hope she is up for the job in another 5 years.  I thought since I would not be able to attend I would send an update.  I did attend the 10th reunion but that too seems like a life time ago. I have been married to Matt for 32 years.  He is a Neuropsychologist and I run the office.  We moved several times during our early years while going to school.  I was a classroom teacher, home economics, for many years, wrote textbooks for Texas Education Agency and was on the faculty for Texas Tech University. Matt was also on faculty at TTU and now in private practice for 18+ years.  We both graduated from University of Nebraska & University of Southern Mississippi.  We spend our free time enjoying the kids and fly fishing in Northern New Mexico.  Our son Matthew will graduate in  '09 from UNL (Go Bo!) and our daughter Sarah is 15 and the Volleyball queen of her high school.  My folks still reside in the Bluffs and as many of you know are SUPER Seniors.  I will be actually making a trip to CB just a few weeks after the reunion to help my dad celebrate 85.  Making two trips was just impossible with the start of a new school year (volleyball)!  I wish each of you the very best, enjoy the reunion, I will be thinking about all of you and will plan to see you in 5 more years.  The then picture is with Sarah on her 15th birthday and with Matt who was home for a few days in May.  I know "y'all" can remember what I looked like then.

I would love to attend and visit with so many of my great friends from school, but it's a long way from the west coast of Sweden, where we currently live. I am a Lutenist by profession, performing Renaissance and Baroque music with orchestras, chamber ensembles, and accompanying vocalists. I've also performed a good amount of Jazz through the decades.

There are a lot of people on this list that I would like to see again.  I wish I could attend the reunion.  Urged by my wife, I left a computer career (and all the stress) a couple of years ago to start a photography business.  The business is just starting to take off and it is much more fun than writing COBOL or configuring Cisco routers.  If you are passing through NW Florida, look me up.  I'll buy you a pint on the best beach of the Gulf coast.
